Lodging Leader exists for one reason: hotel management is learned in the field, not just in a classroom, and too much of that hard-won knowledge never leaves the property where it was earned.
A hotel manager on any given day is an operations director, a revenue strategist, a salesperson, an accountant, a human-resources professional, a safety coordinator, a maintenance supervisor, a trainer, a technology troubleshooter, and a guest-service expert — often before lunch. That breadth of experience makes hotel managers some of the most adaptable leaders in business. It also means the lessons they've earned rarely make it into a textbook.
Lodging Leader gives those professionals a place to share what actually works. Practical articles. Real-world insight. The kind of knowledge that gets passed hallway-to-hallway inside a hotel, now written down so the next generation of leaders doesn't have to relearn it the hard way.

Our Standard
We publish practical knowledge, not press releases. Articles on Lodging Leader reflect the experience and judgment of their individual authors. Publication does not mean every reader will agree with every point — hospitality leadership involves genuine trade-offs, and reasonable professionals often land in different places. What we ask of every piece is that it's grounded in real experience and useful to the next person reading it.
Terms of Service
Content and Contributions
Lodging Leader accepts articles, insights, and contributions from hospitality professionals. By submitting content, a contributor certifies that they are the author, or hold the rights necessary to submit the material, and that the submission does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
Contributors retain ownership of their work. Submission grants Lodging Leader a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, edit, distribute, and display the content on this platform and in connection with promoting it, in any medium now existing or later developed. This license does not prevent a contributor from publishing the same work elsewhere, unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
Contributors are responsible for the accuracy of what they submit, including any statistics, claims, or third-party material included in the piece. The use of AI tools for research, editing, or drafting assistance is permitted, but the contributor remains responsible for verifying accuracy and originality before submission — AI assistance does not shift that responsibility to Lodging Leader.
Editorial Discretion
Every submission is reviewed before publication. Lodging Leaders has sole discretion to accept, reject, edit, or remove content based on relevance, quality, accuracy, and editorial standards. Publication is never guaranteed, and acceptance in the past does not guarantee acceptance of future submissions.

Articles on Lodging Leader represent the views and experience of their individual authors.
